Jim Harbaugh speaks on potential Les Miles return to Michigan

Les Miles back to Michigan? Jim Harbaugh spoke about that possibility this week.

Les Miles is no longer the head coach at LSU and, because of previous ties, his name is always mentioned in conjunction with the Michigan Wolverines. As you may expect, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh was quickly asked about Miles and a potential reunion in Ann Arbor and, well, he gave a very Jim Harbaugh response.

First, Harbaugh responded to the insinuation that Miles could join the program as an honorary captain or even as a staffer in an analyst role, and he simply said ""Yeah, those are ... good suggestions" (h/t MLive.com). Then, he provided the status quo line on both Miles and departed offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, who also has Michigan ties (h/t MLive.com):

"I have the utmost respect for Les, coach Miles, and Cam. Haven't talked to them yet. Hope to soon."

From a Michigan perspective, there isn't much to gain here. Miles is taboo in many ways right now given the way things ended in LSU and, from a football perspective, it isn't as if he has a reputation for innovation or being on the cutting edge in the way that the Wolverines want to be right now.

Still, it isn't a stretch to think we could see Miles hanging around Ann Arbor in the near future, and there is only so much damage that he can do.

Cam Cameron, on the other hand? No thank you.
