Latest College Football Playoff rankings show no respect to North Carolina
during their game at Kenan Stadium on October 24, 2015 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. North Carolina won 26-13.

One of the biggest questions about the College Football Playoff in the past couple of days has centered around North Carolina and the ACC Championship Game. If the Tar Heels win on Saturday against No. 1 Clemson, do they deserve a spot in the Playoff?

According to the committee: no.

North Carolina came in at No. 10 in the penultimate Playoff rankings, pitting them behind two-loss Stanford, Notre Dame, and Florida State teams. This leaves a scenario for where — if North Carolina wins the ACC title — the get passed over for Ohio State or an Pac-12 champion Stanford.

The Top 4 stayed the same this week with Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Iowa. TCU made the biggest jump of all teams, jumping from No. 19 to No. 11 after they beat Baylor on Friday. Tennessee also made a jump into the rankings, representing the first time that the Volunteers have appeared in the Playoff rankings this year.
