The interest in the Miami job has gone up recently, especially after former Miami quarterback Mark Richt was fired from his head coaching position at Georgia. However, Richt isn’t the only SEC coach that the Canes are after.

Dan Mullen has seemingly been in coaching rumors ever since he took the job at Mississippi State. Him or Richt would make a great hire for Miami, as both would be able to work with the talent that is already at the school. At the very least, you would think the two would be an upgrade over the disastrous tenure of Al Golden at the school.
