13-year NFL veteran thinks this guy is the 'best overall prospect' in the Draft

The NFL Media analyst sees him being a good fit with the Dallas Cowboys.

The 2016 NFL Draft is just about a month away, and there is a lot of buzz surrounding a number of prospects. Former North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz has been pegged by ESPN's Jon Gruden as the 'most NFL-ready' prospect in years. Then there's offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil out of Ole Miss, and talented defensive back Jalen Ramsey, who the Tennessee Titans are reportedly seriously considering drafting with the No. 1 overall pick.

However, there is someone not mentioned here who some think has the most to offer in this year's draft class. That's none other than former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliot. NFL Media Analyst Brian Baldinger, who spent 13 years in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles, recently appeared on NFL Network and said that Elliot could easily fit in Dallas. The Cowboys have the No. 4 pick in the first round, so it'll be interesting to see what they do with that pick.

"I think he might be the best overall player in the whole draft. I don't think I'm overstating that. I think his tape shows that," Baldinger said on NFL Network. "(I thought) When (Dallas) could not figure out a way to keep DeMarco Murray last year, that this team was going to go down, and they did. They went from 12-4 to 4-12. A lot of things happened, however, I think with that offensive line and the way they want to play football — nothing against what (Darren) McFadden did (last) year, but we know his injury history — they need a stud at that position. I think what their offensive success is predicated on."

Elliot appeared on everyone's radar after his 1,878 National Title-winning season in 2014, and he rushed for over 1,800 yards again last season.
