One of the most highly-touted recruiting prospects for the 2018 class will be visiting a school in SEC country this weekend. Five-star quarterback Trevor Lawrence (6-foot-6, 196 pounds, Cartersville, Ga.) will be visiting the Florida Gators over the weekend. Head coach Jim McElwain's team will be having the annual spring scrimmage on Friday evening, which Lawrence will be attending.
Lawrence, per 247Sports, is heavily considered Tennessee and Georgia. Given that he's a 2018 prospect, there's obviously a long way to go with his recruiting process, but McElwain getting him to Gainesville for a visit is a very good thing. He first received an offer from Gainesville in January.
