Coach Prime took to Instagram on Saturday morning to address the Colorado faithful following the embarrassing loss for the Buffs.
"This 1 hurt for so many reasons. Regardless of u feel you've got to be consistent with who u are, what u are, why u are that and how u are. Consistency Wins in the end. I love all of @cubuffsfootball fans & supporters to Life and I appreciate the rest of y'all good or bad. God bless you all #CoachPrime "
These comments come after Sanders questioned his team's desire to win in his post game press conference on Friday night. Sanders told reporters that he told his team, "They gotta make up in their mind are they in love with this game or are they in like with it."

Sanders and Colorado are feeling the heat after losing 46-43 to Stanford, who came into the game with a 1-4 record, in double overtime on Friday night after leading the game 29-0 at half. It was a sloppy night for the Buffs as they were penalized 17 times for 127 yards in the loss.
After starting the season 3-0, this year is quickly snowballing for Colorado as the Buffaloes have lost three of their last four games and are now in danger of missing the six wins needed for a bowl berth. The Buffs still need to play four teams that are currently ranked in the AP top 25 poll in UCLA, Oregon State, Washington State and Utah.
Sanders is in his first season as the head coach at Colorado. He has already made strides in improving the program after Colorado went just 1-11 in 2022, but more work remains for Coach Prime and the Buffs.
