In a moment eerily reminiscent to last years Alabama/LSU game, Alabama was able to take advantage of kickoff that went out of bounds, turning the field position into a field goal before the end of the first half. Then on the final play of the half, the kickoff, Alabama’s Tony Brown raced downfield and absolutely destroyed the LSU return man.
Last season the same scenario played out with Reuben Foster laying out Leonard Fournette to end the second half. This year it was Tony Brown, but the hit was just as devastating.
Much like Foster’s hit in 2014, the hit delivered by Brown sent the Tide to the locker room with all kinds of energy and invigorated the Bama sideline. Now the question to ask is who delivered the bigger hit, Foster or Brown?
