Boy Alabama fans would love to have Amari Cooper back. On a Sunday after Alabama was upset at home by Ole Miss 43-37, the Tide’s former top playmaker was making his mark on the NFL. Cooper had a huge day Sunday for the Oakland Raiders in their week two win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Cooper had seven catches for 109 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders 37-33 win. Cooper scored on a 68-yard touchdown from quarterback Derek Carr, the very type of big play that Tide fans remember and miss.
After a rough weekend Tide fans can at least try and find some solace in the success of a former Bama great.
