Cam Robinson addresses injury concerns after Texas A&M win

Star offensive lineman Cam Robinson hasn’t quite looked like himself over the last several Alabama contests, enough so that questions concerning a possible injury were asked to coach Nick Saban. Prior to Saturday’s game with Texas A&M Saban confirmed that Robinson had been limited in practice due to small nagging injuries and that it was showing in his play.

After Bama’s 41-23 victory over Texas A&M Saturday, Robinson addressed the injury concerns with the media confirming that he is “battling through a few injuries”. Robinson struggled with Texas A&M star defensive end Myles Garrett at time Saturday. Garrett only had one sack which is below is average of 1.5, but Garrett was in the backfield much of the day causing trouble for the Alabama offense.

Robinson is determined to play better however, stating that injuries are “no excuse”. “I battled injuries last year,” Robinson said. “It’s nothing. It’s just something I have to play through.”
