Damien Harris suffers ugly first quarter ankle injury

Alabama sophomore running back Damien Harris the Tide's game against Kent St in the first quarter Saturday after suffering what looks to be an ugly ankle injury.

The exact nature of the injury is unknown but it was serious even that Harris left for the locker room with his ankle wrapped in ice on the cart.

Harris has not returned to the field.

 

It's been a rough day for the Bama running backs as redshirt freshman Bo Scarbrough has also gone down with a lower leg injury in the second quarter. He has yet to return.

Alabama leads Kent St 41-0 late in the second quarter.
