ESPN’s Jesse Palmer has Crimson Tide in College Football Playoffs

ESPN’s Colin Cowherd had College Football analyst Jesse Palmer on “The Herd” Wednesday afternoon, who spoke on last weekend’s matchups and what has impressed him thus far.

When it came to discussing Alabama, here’s what Palmer had to say:

“I would still have Bama in my top four right now. I think what I saw this past weekend helps solidify that. Good defensive play. Offensively, finally seeing Blake Sims throw the ball down the field. Getting Amari Cooper, who should be in the Heisman talks by the way, lined up outside and inside, lined up against linebackers.”

Offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin opened up the passing game and this Alabama team looks like a completely different one than the squad that took the field against West Virginia in Week 1. After a bye week, the Crimson Tide will play No. 10-ranked Ole Miss on the road Oct. 4.
