Recently the folks at Saturday Down South put together a list of the most recent instances of SEC fans rushing their respective fields.  It’s a pretty interesting list that proves something Tide fans already knew to be true, fans live to beat Bama. Beating Alabama was the most common reason for rushing the field on the list and why wouldn’t it be?

Here’s something else most Bama fans already knew when they opened this article, Tide fans have never, ever, for any reason, rushed the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.  Some things in life are certain and the fact that Bama fans will never rush the field is one of them. Alabama is supposed to win after all, you rush the field when you beat the Tide because you expect to lose, it’s never the other way around.

South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Auburn most recently rushed the field after beating the Tide, and the only other school to have never rushed the field in the SEC is Florida, because they know how to act like they’ve been there before, just like Bama.

I mean come on Auburn, you won a national championship within the last five years and you rushed the field when you beat Bama? Kick-six or no kick-six, thanks for letting us know just how insecure you really feel.

Ever wondered the last time Alabama fans rushed the field?
