Favorite emerges for the mammoth showdown between Alabama and Florida State

This one should be a great game.

This year's Chick Fil A kickoff game features two heavy weights in Alabama and Florida State with the game being played in the new Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. And now it looks like the game has a betting favorite:

Both teams are expected to win their conferences and have excellent years. They're also supposed to be in the top five of the preseason polls so the winner of this game could have quite the resume booster heading into the College Football Playoff rankings in November.

Both teams have sophomore quarterbacks expected to have much better seasons behind strong offensive lines and both should have strong defenses. This game could very well come down to who runs the ball better and if FSU can find a decent Dalvin Cook replacement before fall.
