Four-star WR Jaylen Waddle pushes back signing date after taking official visit to early favorite @D1___JW/Twitter

Uncommitted four-star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle announced that he won’t sign early on December 20th via Twitter on Tuesday.

The Texas native has narrowed down his top-5 to Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida State, Oregon and TCU, with the Tide and Aggies as the current favorites and has received offers from more than two dozen schools, according to 247Sports.

The addition of new head coach Jimbo Fisher has given A&M some momentum, with the former Seminoles coach having already recruited Waddle prior to accepting his new position earlier this month.

The four-star wide receiver spent the past weekend in College Station, which was the last of his allotted official visits.

Waddle ranks as the No. 7 wide receiver and No. 50 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.
