WR JoJo Earle Enrolls at Alabama
— Alabama Football (@AlabamaFTBL) December 16, 2020
Teams like Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech also tried to recruit Earl.
Interestingly, he is the second member of Aledo's team to flip to the Tide in the Early Signing Period, joining running back Jase McClellan in 2019.
The opportunity to compete for national championships was enticing for Earle, who now gets an even bigger springboard to the NFL.
JoJo Earle Highlights
JoJo Earle got a late start to the 2020 season, but COVID-19 couldn't disrupt his team's momentum. The Bearcats have won three-straight state championships, and Earle was a notable contributor.
He has the speed of a running back and was utilized all over the offense. Earle totaled 26 touchdowns in 2019 and was awarded a four-star rating as a result.
He may be a bit undersized, but his quickness makes him a nightmare for defenses. If he can develop correctly, we could hear his name called during the NFL Draft in a few years.
The Alabama Crimson Tide have had a long string of success with wide receivers. From Julio Jones to Amari Cooper to DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle, maybe JoJo Earle will be the next Heisman Trophy finalist to suit up in Tuscaloosa.
