Lane Kiffin takes another subtle shot at Alabama's growing coaching staff

Lane Kiffin never stops.

Lane Kiffin has never had an issue with sharing his thoughts in blunt fashion and, with every passing day, he continues to find ways to poke the Alabama Crimson Tide. The former Alabama OC and current FAU head coach visited with "Sports Talk with Bo Mattingly" earlier in the week (h/t CBS Sports) and, in short, Kiffin made it clear that he did not know the names of his colleagues in Tuscaloosa.

"I was there three years, and I still didn't learn everybody's name in that building," Kiffin said. "There were so many people. There's somebody for everything. [Alabama coach Nick Saban] has a very large staff of a lot of people. Obviously, he's done that so he that he's got all areas covered and everybody for something."

This is, of course, a not-so-subtle shot at the size of Nick Saban's coaching staff and the seemingly unending pockets that pay for it. By the way, Kiffin isn't wrong to suggest that Alabama's staff is monstrous because, well, it is. With that said, his obsession with pointing things out like this is probably to get old at some point, if it hasn't already.

Lane Kiffin is going to be relegated to relative obscurity at FAU, at least for a while, but he'll apparently never stop sniping in the direction of Tuscaloosa.
