One NFL scout has an opinion of Derrick Henry that will make Alabama fans shout
at Davis Wade Stadium on November 14, 2015 in Starkville, Mississippi.

Alabama running back Derrick Henry is just 16 yards shy of Leonard Fournette’s FBS-leading 1,474 rushing yards. And many believe Henry may have even overtaken Fournette as the frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy after handily outgaining the LSU Tiger the past two weeks.

But NFL Draft scout Matt Miller says Henry lacks some of the necessary tools to make him a star at the next level, and may even struggle.

Henry’s perceived lack of agility may or may not come into play in the NFL. It certainly hasn’t been an issue in the SEC, which puts more players in the NFL than any other conference by a good margin.

And by his own admission, Miller hasn’t always been the most accurate at predicting pro talent.
