Nick Saban is one of the greatest college football coaches to ever live. There is no sense in trying to debate that. We know he can win big games and recruit pretty much anyone he wants to, but the Alabama coach never really dives into his personal life in Tuscaloosa too much.
We know he's a loving husband to the incomparable Miss Terry Saban. We know he's a proud father and grandfather. We know he can ride a go-kart and doesn't have the world's greatest singing voice. We also know he loves the Cupid Shuffle.
That's definitely a good start, but what exactly is the Crimson Tide leader's music preference? The answer probably won't shock you too much, but his postgame routine after road wins might.

Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban doesn't really listen to music when he's working. However, much like the rest of us, he appreciates a good tune. And before the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, the now-70-year-old gave a list of favorites that are in his car: Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles and Elton John.
Needless to say, Saban, who was born in Fairmont, West Virginia, loves the era he grew up in.
"Now, for all you youngins — see, one good things about my age is we grew up in a pop culture that no one else will ever have the opportunity to live through, from Elvis Presley all the way through hard rock, Motown, all the way through, soft rock, all that. So I lived all that, so I enjoy all that."
Saban was featured in GQ and Rolling Stone in "Nick Saban: Sympathy for the Devil," and The Ringer highlighted his "50-Year Love Affair With The Rolling Stones."
Music, in his words, is important. He listens to boat jams during the offseason, too. The Alabama football coach also has an amazing routine with his wife when he returns to Tuscaloosa from a hard-fought road win.
Nick Saban's Road Win Celebration Song
Playing on the road in the SEC is tough business. Escaping with a victory is never guaranteed, although Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide make it look so easy at times. And when Saban returns to Tuscaloosa, on the drive home, he and Terry have a specific theme song they listen to.
Saban revealed to ESPN's Tom Rinaldi on his weekly radio show in 2015 that they listen to The Rolling Stones hit "Gimme Shelter" when they leave the airport.
"We crank it up coming from the airport, driving home," Saban said, via 247Sports. "That's kind of my happiest time of the week. That means we won the game. It means Miss Terry and I are listening to a song that we really enjoy and love and we're together. There's not much time in between how much you can enjoy that moment and how much you have to start getting ready for the next one."
Saban, a Kent State graduate in the 1970s, is a big fan of Mick Jagger. The choice is not surprising. But can you imagine him belting out, "IT'S JUST A SHOT AWAY" at the top of his lungs on the drive home? A true legend.
