Saban updates injury status of key trio of players heading into Kentucky

After practice Wednesday Alabama coach Nick Saban addressed the injury situation of a trio of key Alabama offensive players. Alabama offensive starters ArDarius Stewart (knee), Damien Harris (ankle), and Robert Foster (knee) will remain day-to-day heading into Saturday's matchup with Kentucky.

"Damien and Robert have practiced. ArDarius has been running," Saban said. "I can't really tell you who could or couldn't play. I think these will all be sort of right before the game decisions relative to whether these guys will be ready to go or not"

"Trevon Diggs and Cam Sims did a really good job in the last game," Saban said. "(Gehrig) Dieter is still working and doing a good job. Robert has practiced some this week."

Saban isn't too worried about having to hold out any of his for Kentucky after watching how their backups preformed against Kent State. In fact it may be wise to sit or severely limit Stewart, Harris, and Foster's playing time to ensure they are well rested and healthy for the tough SEC slate waiting for Alabama on the other side of the Kentucky matchup.
