SEC Network analyst has high praise for Alabama RB

Good to hear.

Five-star running back Najee Harris enrolled early at the University of Alabama, and he's already turning heads of those who have had the opportunity to see him up and close and in-person.

SEC Network analyst and former Crimson Tide quarterback Greg McElroy saw Harris in-person and talked about what he saw on The Paul Finnebaum Show.

Via SaturdayDownSouth:

"I did get a chance to see him, Paul, and he looks like he's 28 years old," McElroy said. "He is physically mature, well-built. By all accounts, he has had a tremendous spring."

This is definitely what you want to hear if you're a fan of the Crimson Tide as Harris hasn't even played a down for the team yet and he's already showing out.

McElroy went on to say:

"He looks the part. He's a big, physical bruising runner," McElroy said. "Though we haven't seen him in action, I imagine if he plays the way he looks, he's bound for big, incredible things here in Tuscaloosa where we've seen so many big backs in years past."

It sounds like Harris fits the part the way Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson and more did when they played for Alabama.
