What makes a call of a sports play great? Not only does a play have to be important, but the announcers have to act like it's important.
That's what makes the ESPN Deportes call of Kenyan Drake's 95-yard kickoff return so great; the play was likely one of the most important in the national title game, and the announcers treated at such. Sure, a regular call of "Touchdown!" can work, but "Touchdooooooooooowwnnn!!" sounds so much better.
