Auburn secondary gets boost going into season

Auburn really needed some good news.

Auburn was supposed to get a nice boost in the secondary this summer when Miami of Ohio graduate transfer Marshall Taylor came to town. However, he has been unable to practice during fall camp because of an injury he suffered in the summer at a party he attended with former running back Jovon Robinson.

That was the incident that got Robinson kicked off the team, but Taylor has been allowed to stay. According to James Crepea of AL.com, Taylor rejoined Auburn over the weekend and is expected to participate in practice this week.

Marshall recorded 109 tackles, three interceptions and 12 pass deflections in three seasons of play for Miami of Ohio before heading south to Auburn.
