According to Brett McMurphy of ESPN, Auburn will be heading to Tampa on New Year’s Day to face off with Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl.
It will be a matchup between the No. 19 Tigers and the No. 18 Badgers, who will meet for the fourth time in history with the series tied at 1-1-1. The Badgers won the most recent meeting in 2006, while the Tigers won in 2003 and the two teams tied in 1931.
There figure to be plenty of rushing yards between the two teams in Tampa. Wisconsin was the 4th best rushing offense in the nation, averaging 314 yards per game, while Auburn finished the season 12th in rushing at 258.5 yards per game on the ground.
