By now, you know that the nation’s No. 1 ranked high school quarterback prospect, Jacob Eason, formally announced he would be sticking with his commitment and playing college football at Georgia. Many suspected Eason would wind up with Florida, given the Gators’ current quarterback situation and the fact that Mark Richt, Eason’s primary recruiter, had already accepted the job at Miami.
Shortly after Eason made the announcement that he’d be headed for Athens, Florida cornerback Jalen Tabor may have thrown a jab at Eason’s decision on Twitter, by saying he’s looking forward to intercepting Eason in the Florida-Georgia game each year instead of just during practice, if Eason were to commit to Florida.
