Florida fans had one of the best days ever on Saturday

'Twas the best day ever.

If you're a Florida fan then Saturday was one of the best days of the year for you. Not only did the Gators get a 24-10 win over hated rival Georgia, but Tennessee lost in embarrassing fashion to a lowly South Carolina team coached by Will Muschamp, he of former Florida glory. Here's some other scores that might have put a smile on Florida fans' faces.

Hated rival Florida State lost in the most painful way possible and in-state rival Miami also took the "L" after the Canes thought they might make a comeback against a pretty bad Notre Dame team. And now the Gators are ranked in the top 10 in the AP Poll.

Florid plays Arkansas next weekend for a chance to get its first SEC West win of the season and become only the second SEC East team to beat someone from the other division. Kentucky beat Mississippi State 40-38 earlier in the season to become the first team with the distinction.
