No. 11 Florida (5-0, 3-0) travels to Death Valley on Saturday, Oct. 17 to take on No. 7 LSU (4-0, 2-0) in a 7:00 p.m. EST kickoff that will air on ESPN. The SEC announced the news on Monday afternoon. It was a little surprising that Florida-LSU didn’t get the 3:30 CBS slot, but instead that went to No. 8 Alabama at No. 9 Texas A&M.

The will feature a classic matchup — LSU is led by Heisman frontrunner Leonard Fournette, while Florida’s defense is a punishing unit against both the run and pass, and they’re coming off of an upset victory over Ole Miss. LSU head coach Les Miles might have a little confidence with the kickoff time — the Tigers have an astounding 41-2 record under Miles during night games in Death Valley.

Florida is looking to defeat the Tigers for the first time in Tiger Stadium since the 2009 season. See the rest of the Week 7 kickoff and television slots here.

It’s set: No. 11 Florida, No. 7 LSU meet at Death Valley at night on ESPN
