Jeff Driskel granted release from Florida, can transfer immediately

Ever since Jeff Driskel lost his starting QB role, it was rumored that the junior QB would transfer and play his final college season elsewhere. Well, it now looks like Driskel does in fact plan on getting out of of Florida.

Head coach Jim McElwain confirmed that he granted Driskel a release from Florida and because he has his degree already, he can play immediately at a different school. It has been rumored that the quarterback is interested in transferring to Duke.

Driskel finished the season with 1,092 yards, nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions in seven games.
