As we all know, the 2019 Louisiana State University Tigers had one of the greatest college football seasons of all time. Performances against Oklahoma and Clemson will stand the test of time, and Joe Burrow will be etched into LSU lore forever.
Despite several players from that team having graduated or selected in the NFL Draft, head coach Ed Orgeron's squad rolled into 2020 with high expectations. Unfortunately, inconsistency across the board meant that the Tigers finished with a 5-5 record.
LSU's football schedule is incredibly favorable, too. Winning 10 games and/or reaching the NCAA College Football Playoff is certainly not out of the question.

The Tigers kick off with a non-conference game on the road in Pasadena, California and a date with Chip Kelly and the UCLA Bruins. In Week 2, LSU plays its first game in Baton Rouge against the FCS program McNeese State.
The first SEC matchup comes on September 25 against Mississippi State, and there are plenty of marquee games that follow. The SEC West is always competitive, so the games against Arkansas, Auburn, and Ole Miss will likely be incredible.
Of course, the highlight of the season comes against the Alabama Crimson Tide on November 6. The game will be in Tuscaloosa, but that didn't stop the Tigers from securing a victory the last time these two teams played there.
Like every year since 2012, LSU's season ends against the Texas A&M Aggies. The Tigers have typically dominated the matchup, and there is a great chance they could return to that form at home.
The SEC Championship Game will take place in Atlanta on December 4. The LSU Tigers won't have the easiest road there, but they look poised to make some noise this season.
