LSU has to stick to its game plan if it hopes to upset Alabama

With LSU needing a win against Alabama to keep its College Football Playoff dreams alive this weekend, there’s got be a lot on the Tigers’ minds.

Here’s what I think they’re thinking:

We might just be the hottest team in the SEC right now. Alabama comes to our house this Saturday and we’re not laying down for anyone. Anthony Jennings really has showed leadership in the last few weeks and we’ll rally around him. Let’s get Leonard Fournette and Terrence Magee going against the Tide. We can’t let their defense draw us away from our game plan. If we can run the ball against them, we can control the clock and the tempo of the game. Kendell Beckwith has been an absolute monster over the last few games and he’ll play disrupter against Alabama. We have to keep a safety over the top of Amari Cooper and make the other skill players beat us. We know Tiger Stadium is going to be loud, now it’s time to go out and execute.
