LSU wide receiver Travin Dural is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a torn hamstring, according to The Daily Reveille’s Christian Boutwell.
Dural will have surgery to repair the tear this week, after suffering the injury against No. 18 Ole Miss last Saturday. The 6-foot-2, 203-pound junior left the game after leaping for a pass in the end zone and landing on his back.
The Louisiana native is the Tigers’ (7-3, 4-3 SEC) second-leading receiver this season, with 28 catches for 533 yards and three touchdowns. LSU will miss Dural’s big play ability when it faces Texas A&M Saturday.
The game kicks off 7:30 p.m. EST on the SEC Network.
