It only took 10 games or so for people to see the light on Texas A&M quarterback Kyle Allen.
After one bad half of football, Allen has been on fire, passing for 1,274 yards 13 touchdowns and two picks. His passing efficiency is tops in the SEC and ninth in the country. Again, Allen is balling.
Balling so hard that Bleacher Report NFL Draft Writer Matt Miller thinks Allen will be the first quarterback taken in the 2017 draft.
That’d be Allen’s junior year of course, and no one knows whether he’ll stay after next year or go and frankly, that’s hardly on anyone’s mind in Aggieland.
Still, that’s some high praise for A&M’s quarterback through the first five games of the season.
