Throwback Thursday: South Carolina upsets No. 1 Alabama

The Gamecocks were coming off a loss at No. 17 Auburn before coming back home to host Alabama. They got over that loss real quick as they were able to pull out a 35-21 win over the Crimson Tide thanks to a great day from Gamecock quarterback Stephen Garcia and running back Marcus Lattimore. Garcia threw for only 201 yards, but was super efficient with his 17-of-20 passing and three touchdowns. Lattimore had one receiving touchdown and ran for two more on his way to 93 yards rushing. The defense was also stout as the unit was able to hold Tide running back Mark Ingram to only 41 yards on 11 carries.
