Four-star CB Adonis Otey still considers one program 'a top school' despite decommitting from it

That's big for these guys.

Four-star cornerback Adonis Otey decommitted from Tennessee back in early July after being committed to the program for only three months. It seems that hasn't left a sour taste in his mouth though as he told 247Sports the Vols are "still a top school in my mind" along with the likes of Florida and LSU.

In fact, the 6-foot, 175-pound Murfreesboro, Tenn. native is scheduled to be in Atlanta for Tennessee's opener against Georgia Tech. He also says he plans to get on campus before long and that he's still considering the Vols despite not being committed there anymore.

Otey has 10 offers as of this writing with some coming from Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU and Ole Miss. He's ranked as the No. 9 recruit in the state of Tennessee and No. 15 CB in the class of 2019 by the 247Sports composite.
