Butch Jones: “It’s (the game against South Carolina) going to be a great challenge.”

It feels like most of the games this season have been that way for Tennessee and head coach Butch Jones. The coach knows that if he wants to win that game, he will have to trot out his best possible players.

One of the ways to make it as a starter on this team is something that quarterback Joshua Dobbs has been doing for some time now, and that’s to ask how you can make the team better.

Jones did find something Dobbs can be doing on the field to make this team better though.

It would seem the QB job is Dobbs’ to lose and Jones really only wants to play one quarterback for the game against South Carolina.

However, he just wants to see some wins and he may try out a two QB system.

Coach then took the time to talk more specifically about the Gamecocks and what he thought about their quarterback.

Jones thinks the real battle will be in the trenches though with USC’s defensive line being so big.

Jones and the Volunteers will get the chance to play South Carolina and that big defensive line this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.
