Butch Jones: “We have no preference of bowls, just excited to be in.”

You can imagine how excited Jones and his Vols are to be apart of the postseason considering the last time Tennessee went was in 2010. Coach said that some of the bowls his team is being considered are close together in timing, but he’s ready for anything.

The bowl decision has to be made with the SEC, but Jones is just happy to be representing the school well.

Today was also the first practice back since the Vanderbilt game and Jones really liked what he saw from his players.

Jones also shared his plans on what the team will do for the bowl selection show.

Since there’s so much time until the bowl game Jones is hoping to get some good team bonding exercises in at some point.

But of course where the bowl game takes place might help just as much as practicing for it.

The bowl games will be announced on Sunday and then Tennessee will know for sure where it’s going later in the month.
