The Tennessee quarterback has already been sacked more times than last season. Here’s a reminder, Worley played in eight games last season and was only brought down six times. Through three games this season, he has been sacked nine times already.
But the senior isn’t letting those stats break his faith in his teammates. It says a lot about Worley’s character that he isn’t blaming the offensive line for the team’s struggles. He could easily say if the line would give the team more holes and more protection then the team could have a better offense.
Worley hasn’t been given the protection he needs to succeed in this offense, but no matter what, he still thinks highly of them.
