Syracuse QB gets knocked out on brutal helmet-to-helmet hit

Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey was forced to leave his team’s game against Central Michigan after taking a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit from Central Michigan defensive lineman Mitch Stanitzek.

Stanitzek was ejected for the hit. Dungey would leave the field under his own power after the play, where his completed pass actually went for a touchdown.
