This former Michigan commit might want a do-over after choosing Ohio State

One of the more high-profile recruiting battles between Michigan and Ohio State in recent memory took place with regard to former Detroit Cass Tech running back Mike Weber. Weber was once committed to the Wolverines during the Brady Hoke era, but at the last moment, he found himself choosing to roll with Urban Meyer and company for his college career.

Now, it seems like he might be wanting a do-over on that decision.

It absolutely must be noted that we are dealing with no specifics in this instance, but given that Weber has been a non-factor in Columbus, it isn’t the biggest leap. In addition, Weber once noted that he was “hurt as hell” that members of the OSU staff bolted from the program immediately following National Signing Day, and the stars are aligned for some discontent on Weber’s behalf.

There is no actionable data on this front, but Mike Weber doesn’t seem happy in Columbus and he joins an increasingly long line of Ohio State athletes conveying that sentiment.
