Star Wars: Battlefront 2 closed beta event launching this Fall, gameplay to be streamed live

According to an official announcement over Electronic Arts' website, those who already purchased Star Wars: Battlefront 2 won't have to wait as long as the rest of us to play it. The game's multiplayer Beta event is set to launch sometime this Fall on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through EA's Origin retail client.

In addition to the earlier access, players who pre-ordered the game will also receive exclusive outfits from The Last Jedi for Kylo Ren and Rey, as well as updated sounds and a skin for the Millennium Falcon. Players will also receive instant access to six Star Cards, which are a type of equipment that can be used to customize your characters in Battlefront.

Those less-than-zealous fans who may not have pre-ordered can still catch gameplay for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 at 3 p.m. Saturday Visit EA's website to watch the countdown until the stream, which will be broadcasted live on the studio's home page.
