Cody Garbrandt only needed a minute to score a KO at UFC 202 UFC on Fox/Twitter

There’s nothing quite like a first-round knockout, and that’s what Cody Garbrandt scored in his bantamweight bout against Takeya Mizugaki on the UFC 202 preshow.

Garbrandt (10-0) scored with a right hand, which knocked Mizugaki (21-10-2) to the ground. Garbrandt was able to get in and land several more rights before Big John McCarthy finally stepped in and called the fight in favor of the undefeated Garbrandt.

Garbrandt will now look to get his shot at bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz, as the man known as “No Love” has definitely solidified himself as one of the top contenders, if not the top contender.
