Dana White said this about Ronda Rousey, and it should have the entire women's division on notice

Will Rousey ever be the same?

After suffering a devastating loss in November, Ronda Rousey left the UFC to work on her movie career and has given little to no indication on when she'll be expected back.

In Rousey's absence, the time is now open for another woman to take over as the most dominant fighter in the UFC, judging by UFC president Dana White's recent comments, via Fox Sports:

"She has as much time off as she wants or needs. Obviously, I would love her to come back sooner than later so we'll see how that plays out but it wouldn't be a bad thing to roll into New York with Ronda but I just don't know if she's going to be ready," White revealed when speaking to "The Michael Kay Show".

Miesha Tate and Holly Holm are fine fighters, but they haven't shown the ability to absolutely crush the division like Rousey did over her tenure. Tate will have her first test against Amanda Nunes at UFC 200. She has lost both of her two title fights against Rousey, while Holm was choked out in her first defense against Tate.

Tate and Rousey have hinted at a November return when the UFC takes to Madison Square Garden, but those have remained rumors for now at least.

Rousey is expected to get a title match upon her return, but there's certainly a void to be filled in her absence.
