Miesha Tate took a brutal beating and was left a broken, bloody mess

She faced the music like a boss, but with a towel covering her broken face.

Now that Amanda Nunes is the woman who beat the woman, who beat the woman, who beat the woman, she's to be feared by all. Just ask Miesha Tate who took one of the most brutal, first-round pounding at the hands of Nunes at UFC 200. I use the term "pounding" lightly.

Tate showed up to the post-fight presser sporting a towel over her broken nose, which she admitted was "still bleeding." When you look like this before hand, one can only assume the bleeding's not going to stop any time soon.

"It's not about me tonight; it's about Amanda," Tate said. "She did what she came to do, and I have the utmost respect for her. I just hope that some day I get a chance to fight her again. If she would give me that opportunity, I would be grateful."

Even after getting completely demolished, Tate remained the same humble fighter that has helped gain such a loyal following. Broken nose and all she's a winner for that, at least.

Tate loss by submission to Nunes.
