Former four-star Michigan quarterback announces transfer destination

Morris is a former four-star recruit of the 2013 class.

Shane Morris is leaving the University of Michigan, but he won't be leaving the state with his transfer.

Per a tweet Morris sent out on Saturday, the former four-star quarterback recruit will be heading to Mt. Pleasant to play for Central Michigan.

Morris did play in 16 games in his Michigan career, but his duties as quarterback were limited across the three seasons in which he played. At Central Michigan, he will likely get a better chance to play in a full-time capacity.

As a graduate transfer, Morris should be eligible to play next season immediately.
