Former Alabama Crimson Tide standout Ryan Anderson, who is now in the NFL, is not a huge fan of the NCAA.
We know this because, you know, he recently verbally assaulted everything the governing body of college sports swears it stands for.
Those tweets are inserted as such, as pictures, in case of deletion.
Anderson, who is now with the Cincinnati Bengals, is echoing a point long made by other athletes, members of the media, and some fans.
This all stems from the latest happenings in the world of college hoops.
According to a relatively new report, with the FBI still going through its process, college basketball's elite should be terrified moving forward.
This — again, reportedly — involves Hall of Fame type coaches, NBA-level players, as well as some of the best programs in the country.
Here comes Yahoo Sports' Pete Thamel's source with the money-quote:
"This goes a lot deeper in college basketball than four corrupt assistant coaches," said a source who has been briefed on the details of the case. "When this all comes out, Hall of Fame coaches should be scared, lottery picks won't be eligible to play and almost half of the 16 teams the NCAA showed on its initial NCAA tournament show this weekend should worry about their appearance being vacated."
This is only a crime — as well as NCAA rule violations — because of the archaic idea of amateurism. Paying the labor, because NCAA greed, is somehow bad.
Nevertheless, fully expect more former and current NCAA athletes to speak out now that there's blood in the water.
