Three-star wide receiver Shedrick Jackson (6-foot-1, 195 pounds, Hoover, AL) is the nephew of Auburn legend and former Heisman winner Bo Jackson. The younger Jackson is quite the athlete himself, and on Wednesday, the 2018 recruit released his current Top 5 teams, consisting of Auburn, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Mississippi State, and Missouri.
Based on the 247Sports player rankings, Jackson is within striking distance of that coveted four-star ranking.
Auburn is obviously considered the favorite right now, but it could come down to how much Gus Malzahn and the Tigers staff really want Jackson. If they do, he will probably be on The Plains. If not... then contention with those other four schools could get very interesting.
