Rayshad Lewis, son of the former Miami All-American and two-time Super Bowl champ Ray Lewis, has reportedly decided to transfer from Utah State. Scout is reporting that Lewis is making the transfer and it looks like he has confirmed it by retweeting several well wishers on his Twitter account.

Lewis will have to sit out a year and have three more years of eligibility if he decides to transfer to another FBS program per NCAA transfer rules. He started seven of the 12 games in which he played. The 5'10", 165-pound receiver finished second on the team in catches (40) and receiving yards (476), while his two receiving touchdowns were tied for second. The receptions and yards were second-most in the school's history for a freshman. He also had 110 rushing yards on 10 carries to go with a touchdown on the ground.
He was supposed to make the transition to being a two-way player for the Aggies as they were experimenting with him at defensive back in the spring and possibly making him a punt returner. Lewis was originally a two-star member of the 2016 class and chose USU over Appalachian State, Ball State, FAU, Idaho, Old Dominion and Toledo among others.
