There has only been one NFL team to finish a season 0-16 — the Detroit Lions in 2008 — but the Cleveland Browns could join that list on Sunday if they lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Browns have been historically bad over the last two years, and Hue Jackson is 1-30 as the Browns head coach. It wouldn't be shocking at all if the Browns parted ways with Jackson, and Cleveland would join about a fourth of the league in looking for a new head coach for 2018.
The New York Giants will also be looking for a new coach, and ESPN's Adam Schefter making a very surprising comment on the state of both franchises during an appearance on Golic and Wingo.
"The Cleveland Browns job is more appealing than the Giants job," Schefter said.

The Giants are 2-13 this year, and it's been an abysmal season for one of the best franchises in NFL history. The roster certainly has issues — Eli Manning is nearing the end of his career, the offensive line is a mess, the running back situation is awful — but it's hard to imagine the Browns job being more appealing than the Giants job.
New York was 11-5 last year, and the defensive side of the ball has several great players. It might not be a Super Bowl roster, but it's a roster capable of winning the NFC East next season — especially with Odell Beckham Jr. returning next year.
There are promising building blocks for the Browns moving forward, including star defensive end Myles Garrett. They also play in a division and conference that would give them a chance of competing in the next few years. Cleveland also has two picks that will likely be in the top eight of the NFL Draft, including the No. 1 overall pick.
As bad as things have been for the Giants, they are still in better shape moving forward than Cleveland. That could change if the Browns get a franchise QB in the upcoming draft, but for now, New York gets the nod over Cleveland.
