Peterson expressed interest in the Oakland Raiders, but the Raiders seem more interested in bringing in retired RB Marshwn Lynch.

Teams such as the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers have also passed on Peterson—at least for now—and it's likely because his asking price has been too high.

Peterson said he's willing to take less money to play for a contender, but he might be forced to play for less than he anticipated next season. The soon-to-be 32-year-old RB missed most of last season due to injury.
