Horrifying video shows the aftermath of a former second-round pick's NFL career

Price was a First-Team All-American and Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year in 2009 at UCLA before he left for the NFL.

Former NFL player Brian Price spent three years in the NFL, was drafted in the second round and now is living life as seen in the video above.

As picked up by Click on Detroit, Price is seen on video agitated before running head-first through a glass door. He eventually sat down and was taken to an emergency room where his wife, Candice, discussed with doctors that she believes her husband has CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy).

According to the report, once Price was at the hospital, he "regained focus," apologetic and gentle with blood in his mouth and no memory of the episode.

A report on Tuesday showed 99 percent of studied former NFLers had CTE. According to the report, CTE can manifest in the form of 'aggression, depression, suicidal thoughts and dementia."

Brian Price's NFL career

Price was a First-Team All-American and Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year in 2009 at UCLA before he left for the NFL. He was drafted in the second round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played in 20 games with the Buccaneers before spending time with the Dallas Cowboys.

He suffered a variety of different injuries through his short career, but the worst had to be the gruesome pelvis injury, as his hamstrings were progressively pulling it apart. He had surgeries on the hamstrings, but eventually the injuries would become too much and we'd step away from football for good.
