All-Pro Colts player scorches Ryan Grigson after he gets fired

He was lighting it up on Twitter.

The Indianapolis Colts have parted ways with general manager Ryan Grigson and All-Pro punter Pat McAfee wasted absolutely no time in lighting up his former boss. He took to Twitter and was commenting on the firing within moments of finding out.

McAfee is never one to mince words and speaks his mind more often than not so that should be no surprise. What was surprising was someone who actually took offense to McAfee voicing his opinion about a GM who has proven to be inept.

Big Ten enthusiast and Indianapolis radio talk show host Dan Dakich apparently forgot that punters are people too. His tweet suggests that McAfee shouldn't get to say anything just because he's a punter:

But McAfee wasn't about to let that go and he taught the Grigson sympathizer a lesson he won't soon forget.

I don't know if Dakich and Grigson are buddies, but the former GM had appeared on Dakich's radio show quite often during his tenure with the Colts so they do have some sort of rapport. Dakich then came back with this tweet that makes little to no sense:

I'm not sure Dakich knows what fake news is, but no one is buying this "burn", that's for sure.
